STEAMERS SEAFOOD CAFE

I Give them 5 stars!!!  This is a wonderful place, down on the pier in Downtown Seattle.  We went there with our son Bob while we were walking around that area of town.  I had the true cod and chips here, and my husband had the steamers catch.  We both enjoyed our food very much.  I like the light batter they use here, it has a lot of flavor.  They get pretty busy also, so ya need to bring your patience if you go right at the lunch or dinner hour.   The seating is outside and in, we sat outside, as it was a nice day.  I don't have a picture at the moment, but will get one when we go back there, and add it.  They have a website that gives location info, and menu and stuff.  I will post it here for you:

IVAR'S ACRES OF CLAMS

I give this one 5 stars!

My husband Roger and I walked to this little fish shack on the boardwalk when we were in Seattle for our son George's wedding.  Its right on the sound.  just looks like a small store, and ya go up to the counter and order.  They have a pretty big menu, and I bet it is all very tasty!  We both had the Halibut and chips, and they were fantastic!!  Ivar's is a group of restaurants, and we went to another one just this last time we were there, in May.  It was Great to be walking down the street, and have such good places to eat and many things to see there also.  It's right across from the Pikes Market, and we went to the aquarium, and some other places also.  Seattle is a city best seen by foot, or on bicycle.  They have a website where you can learn more about the place.  I'll post it.

TUGBOAT ANNIE'S

only 3 stars for the Fish & Chips

This is a good Restaurant, don't get me wrong.  As for the Fish & Chips, I will just say, I highly recomend the burgers and garlic fries!
I had the Fish & Chips.  They were ok, but after the other places, they didn't meet my standards.  They were kinda small, and a bit greasy.
Others that were with me had burgers, etc..., and I was jealous of their food.  They make this burger there that is as big as your head!  I mean it can feed 4 very hungry men!  The garlic fries are sooooo good, in fact I would LOVE some right now.   Oh man, I will have to try to make them for lunch.....   Tugboat Annies is a fun place to be.  They have cool decor, with license plates, and stuff all over the walls.  They are also right on the water, just around the corner from Oyster House.  They also have a website, where you can look at the menu, and get directions, if needed.  I will post this for you.

O Blarney's Irish Pub

I give them 5 stars They are Great!
This place is a true pub.  I felt as if I were in Ireland.  The people that run it and work there are so kind and eager to help.
I had the Beer Buddies first, they are like a tater tot stuffed with cheese (YUM)
I also want to give a nod to the Windmer Hefeweizen, as it is my favorite brew I have tasted here.  They have a huge assortment of brews to try.  We have alot of fun tasting the different brews made right in the area, and also ones form Ireland and other places as well.
I had the Cod and chips here, as they make it fresh, but the halibut is good also, I like the Cod better here.  They have a wonderful selection on their menu, so I would like to go here more often, to try the ruben, which I tasted, as my Husband ordered it, Everything we had was awesome!

The Oyster House

The Best of all places 5 stars from me!

This is the place that is a must for every visit to Olympia!  The food is amazing, and fresh.  We go there with our Daughter, and her family every time we visit.  I have the Halibut and chips here also, but the cod is also excellent.  My husband Roger has tried alot of different things, and I have tasted his.  The clam chowder is the best I have ever tasted also.  I always have an oyster shooter (  An oyster with cocktail sauce) with Chris,  our son in law.  We have made many wonderful memories here.  The atmosphere is fantastic, as it is right on the bay.

McClane's Cafe

This is a very good restaurant.  I give it 5 stars!  I will be rating 1-5 stars, 5 being the best!
I visited this Cafe a few years ago.  My husband and I were in town attending the wedding of our daughter Shannon.  It was a wonderful time, as she was married in Manresa Castle.
I had never had fresh fish and chips, so we asked around town, and the locals recomended this cafe.  The menu is simple, and the food just delicious.  I had the halibut & chips.   This was my first time ever and I was hooked!  They have great specials also on fresh seafood, steak, burgers, and more.  They have a page on Facebook, if you would like to check it out.
